Gifts that might make them tear up
Here are a few of my favorite more “sentimental” Father’s Day gifts. Not only do they make dad feel loved and appreciated but they make a great keepsake to look back at for years to come.
I made one of these for my husband a few Father’s Days back and it is still a favorite in our household. I included a bunch of pictures of my husband and my daughter together and added words to share memories they have together. We keep it in her room as a bedtime book. Kids love looking at pictures of themselves and the people in their family so we’ve had a lot of fun looking and talking about the pictures together.
Another one of my favorite gifts. We used this exact Etsy seller and he was awesome, however, there are a ton of different artists on etsy who do similar work. You can find someone to do a pencil sketch, watercolor, or more of a cartoon-like drawing based on your preference. I ordered a frame from West Elm to go with the art. This is such a beautiful, thoughtful, and relatively easy gift to pull off.
Another simple gift that is straight from the heart, a piece of artwork from each of your kiddos. You can use artwork of theirs that you already have or have them paint a picture specifically for this purpose. Having them use watercolor paints on watercolor paper will give the art an elevated look. Finish the gift off with a sharp looking frame like the one linked.
Customize a mug with your child's face so they can sip their coffee and see their favorite person each morning (you can include multiple faces if you want!).
