Cradles to Crayons provides children from birth through age 12, living in homeless or low-income situations, with the essential items they need—clothing, shoes, diapers, school supplies, and more—free of charge. Our vision is that one day all children will have the essentials they need to thrive.

With clothing insecurity at the core of our mission, Cradles to Crayons is the only national nonprofit organization focused on this resource gap. Since our founding in 2002, we have distributed millions of packages of essentials to children in Chicagoland, Greater Philadelphia, Massachusetts, and NYC.
